Professional Background

Mr. Brown is an experienced civil litigator who has represented insurance companies, manufacturers, construction companies, hospitals, physicians, universities, cultural institutions, and other entities in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  His practice includes the representation of corporate and individual clients in all aspects of professional, products, errors and omissions, and general liability litigation.  He advises major wireless telecommunications companies in real estate development and land use proceedings before municipal entities throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  Mr. Brown also represents green infrastructure clients in the development of utilty-scale alternative energy projects.  He has been  identified as a "Rising Star" by Law & Politics Magazine. 

Mr. Brown graduated from Rutgers University School of Law-Camden in 2002.  While he was a law student, he served as a judicial intern in the chambers of  the Honorable Jerome B. Simandle, U.S.D.J.  He was selected to join the Rutgers Law Journal, which also published his work.  Upon graduation from Rutgers, Mr. Brown received the First District of New Jersey Congressional Award for Scholarship in the Law, and the Bradley Chapin Prize for Scholarship in American Legal History.   

After law school, Mr. Brown served as a law clerk to the Honorable Howard H. Kestin, P.J.A.D., of the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.  He then joined a prominent Philadelphia law firm, where he handled professional, products, and general liability cases for a wide variety of clients, as well as property subrogation matters for major insurance carriers.
